Unique and elegant, the black semi-spherical dome discreetly observes from a distance without drawing excessive attention. Combined with infrared illumination and Starlight technology, the camera is an excellent choice for dark, low-light conditions. The series integrates a mechanical day/night IR filter for high-quality images in varying daylight conditions and True WDR for locations with direct sunlight and glare.
Perimeter Protection Automatically filters out false alarms caused by animals, rustling leaves, bright lights, and other factors, and uses secondary recognition during target detection to enhance alarm accuracy.
Starlight Technology Thanks to advanced imaging and optical technology, Dahua’s Starlight technology can provide clear color video in low-light conditions. It is widely used in various low-light environments.

Smart H.265+ Smart H.265+ is an optimized implementation of the H.265 codec that uses adaptive scene-based encoding strategies, dynamic GOP, dynamic ROI, flexible multi-frame reference structures, and intelligent noise reduction to provide high-quality video without burdening the network. Smart H.265+ technology surpasses standard H.265 video compression, reducing data rates and storage requirements by up to 70%.
Automatic Tracking This function manages the camera’s pan, tilt, and zoom actions to automatically track moving objects and keep them in the frame. Tracking can be initiated manually or automatically based on predefined rules. Once a rule is triggered, the camera can automatically zoom in and track the designated target.
SMD 4.0 Dahua’s intelligent motion detection technology works with smart algorithms to classify targets that trigger motion detection alarms. It filters out non-target objects, such as small and large animals, to avoid false alarms. With AI NVR, the Quick Pick feature allows easy searching and selection of people and vehicle targets from SMD video events, prioritizing the highest matches.
