Useful — locating and tracing buried and hidden wires, easily find electrical/telephone wires, metal pipes, and coaxial cable. The wire marker range is up to 2–3 feet deep and 1000 feet long. Find wires without voltage. Open circuit or short circuit is detected more easily. Do not use on live circuits to avoid damaging the tester! This device is primarily intended to locate cables in a no-voltage or low-voltage state, which is less than 24 V.
